Jake Max Chaperon

Derniere photo de mon ventre le jour de l'accouchement..

Last picture of my belly the day of the delivery...

J'ai commence a avoir des contractions a minuit le 28 decembre... Vers 1h30 du matin, je me suis mise a faire la valise puis je me suis recouchee... J'ai eu des contractions toutes la nuit et arrive au matin, elles ont beaucoup diminue au point que je suis allee au parc avec les petits dans l'apres-midi... Ca m'a relance le travail et a partir de 16h, les contractions ont repris regulierement. Nous sommes partis pour l'hopital a 17h45. A 18h55, les infirmiers m'ont monte du triage a la salle s'accouchement et a 19h09 Jake etait ne!!!

I started to have contactions at midnight on December 28th... Around 1.30 am I did my luggage to bring and I went back to sleep... I had contractions all night and in the morning, they almost stopped, enough for me to go to the park with the kids in the afternoon... So after the park, the labor started again and around 4 pm, they were getting regular. We left for the hospital at 5.45 pm. At 6.55 pm, the nurses brought me from triage to delivery room and at 7.09 pm Jake was born!!!

Pour les francais, il pesait 3 kg 875 et mesurait 52 cm. Mon plus gros bebe (les 2 autres faisaient environ 400-500 g de moins et 5 cm de moins!)

For Americans, he weighted 8 lb 8.7 and measured 21 inches. My biggest baby, the others were 1 lb lighter and about 2 inches smaller!!!

Quand le docteur s'occupait du cordon, du sang a gicle partout jusqu'au mur (il a ete un peu nettoye sur la photo ainsi que le lit!!!)

When the doctor took care of the umbilical cord, blood splashed everywhere to the wall (it has been already cleaned a little on the picture and so does the bed!)

Le lendemain, 29 decembre.

Next day, the 29th.

Le 30 decembre, depart de l'hopital.

December 30th, departure day from the hospital.

31 decembre.

C'est notre bebe 'miracle' car il avait le cordon autour du coup (Jayden l'avait 3 fois) et en plus il avait fait un noeud dans le cordon... C'est rare que le bebe survive avec un noeud, nous avons eu de la chance que le noeud n'ait pas ete plus serre!!!

It's our "miracle" baby because he had the umbilical cord around his neck (Jayden had it 3 times around) and added to that, he did a knot... It is rare that a baby survive with a knot, we were blessed that the knot wasn't tighter!!!

Noel 2010

Entre l'anniversaire de Jeff et Noel, c'etait l'annee de Toys Story!!! Jeff a recu ce qu'il souhaitait et Jayden aussi! Quel Papa Noel genereux!!!

Between Jeff's birthday and Christmas, it was the year of Toys Story!!! Jeff received what he wished and Jayden too! How generous Santa Claus was this year!

Sieste avec ses meilleurs amis, Jeff nous a dit qu'il n'avait plus besoin de son doudou maintenant! Il avait dit la meme chose quand il a recu un gros Spongebob a son anniversaire, ca n'avait pas dure longtemps! Mais il n'a toujours pas reclame son doudou depuis Noel!

Nap time with his best buddies! Jeff told us he didn't need his comforter rag now! He said the same thing when he got a big Spongebob for his birthday, but it didn't last long before he asked for it again! But since Christmas, he hasn't claimed it!
